We’re continuing to celebrate BWN’s rich, 45 year history this month with a special program featuring a panel of three longtime members. We’re excited to welcome Mary Jordan, owner of Bra-La-La, Karen Mosel, owner and principal architect at Transforming Architecture, and Dr. Sheela Reddy, psychologist, executive coach and author, to share their wisdom.

We asked for feedback at our September lunch on what’s been most challenging to you as a woman in business, and our panelists will tell us what’s helped them to overcome the challenges you identified. This program promises to be dynamic, engaging, and chock-full of valuable insight.

Our Speakers:

Mary Jordan created Bra-la-la 18 years ago. After two previous careers, one in cancer research at Georgetown University and her second being a biotechnology specialist selling cytokines, growth factors and antibodies she decided to create something of her own. Bra-la-la is a bra fit boutique in maple lawn that specializes in finding a women’s perfect fit. In addition to bras, they carry loungewear, swimwear and lingerie.

Karen Mosel, AIA, CAPS is owner and principal architect at Transforming Architecture. She started the company in 2008 in order to focus on her love of residential architecture and design. Her system of “Custom Designs. Flat Fees.” provides clients a clear understanding of the services provided and costs when hiring an architect. Her expertise in home design and Aging-in-Place design has made her firm one of the top in Howard County and surrounding areas.
Dr. Sheela Reddy is a Multicultural Systems Psychologist and Executive Leadership Coach.  She specializes in how traumas affect leadership, emotional intelligence, and executive functioning.  She is  a speaker and trainer on Mind Health and Diversity Empathy for organizations.  She is passionate about educating, empowering, & inspiring diverse and minority leaders using a holistic mind-health model and experiential learning approach.  Her mantra “MANAGE INWARD to MOVE UPWARD”.
