INSPIRE & EMPOWER

BWN Boss Lady Awards

Studies show women more than men strongly desire recognition and respect in the workplace. When women in business support each other, we validate our self-worth and strengthen our impact at work, at home and in our communities. In 2020, the Business Women’s Network established the Boss Lady Awards to meaningfully celebrate and acknowledge our members.

BWN believes celebrating members and promoting a collegial environment that embodies our mission and values is critical to our success. Boss Lady Awards are presented at networking luncheons and honorees are promoted online, in the newsletter and on social media.

Boss Lady Awards are BWN’s most prestigious recognitions for those truly inspiring standout members. The ongoing nomination period closes May 15. Annual Award recipients are celebrated at BWN’s annual meeting in June.

Being recognized and feeling seen is an important part of any woman’s life. BWN is intentional about making that a reality.

– Ashlie Sowers, 2022 Boss Lady honoree, Member since 2022

I was very surprised to receive a nomination since there are so many outstanding women in BWN and I am usually in the background. At the same time, I felt heart-warmed to be recognized by women I so admire. It’s a really good feeling.
